The only thing missing from Lori Lightfoot's email is the clapping emoji that lefties like so ๐Ÿ‘ dang ๐Ÿ‘ much ๐Ÿ‘ .

Here's part of it again, just so you can appreciate the wordsmithing here from this political genius:

Since my prior requests for office time are routinely ignored, I am now resorting to this:

I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday! I need office time everyday!

Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday! Not just once a week or some days, everyday!

Yes, this is apparently a real email sent by Lori Lightfoot, as noted by Chicago Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt:

What is it with the woke and their need to repeat things over and over and over??

What an embarrassment! This is the leader of America's third-largest city, AND I THINK SHE MIGHT HAVE SNAPPED.

Here's what the Chicago Tribune had to say about her response to the story:

Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Monday said a much-circulated email in which she berated an aide was "born out of frustration" and she's now in "a better place" with her team.

Yeah, Imma need to hear that from the staff themselves to make sure they aren't all being held hostage somewhere.

In late January, Lightfoot sent her then-scheduler an email complaining that she doesn't get enough of what she called "office time." That's typically a less structured part of the day when the mayor can think, write or make long-term plans.

While it's common for politicians to give staff members specific direction, it's the way Lightfoot delivered her feedback that raised eyebrows in government and political circles.

Lightfoot repeated several sentences โ€” one 16 times โ€” to highlight her displeasure over her schedule.

"I need office time everyday!" Lightfoot wrote 16 times in a row in the email, which the Tribune obtained via an open records request.

"Not just once a week or some days, everyday!" she wrote, 10 times.

It must have been so much fun to write this article.

The note drew criticism from political types who saw it as the mayor bullying a staffer. It also drew comparisons to a chilling scene in the 1980 movie "The Shining," when Shelley Duvall's character finds that her mentally deteriorating husband's character, played by Jack Nicholson, has typed "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" thousands of times instead of writing his manuscript.

At an unrelated news conference Monday, Lightfoot said her email was written "after a lot of conversation and born of frustration."

"We got beyond that and solved the challenges that were at the heart of that email which was written five-plus months ago so I think we're in a better place," she said.

If by "we're in a better place," Lightfoot means "at least a dozen top officials have quit or are planning to quit" since late last year, then yes, I suppose she's telling the truth.

You can't blame Lightfoot too much.

Yes, she's a harsh tyrant, locking down her subjects, ignoring her own COVID restrictions to get her hair done, bowing down to sCieNce, excluding white reporters from interviews, kneecapping her own police department amid a historic homicide surge, and emailing pictures of memos she ripped up to her staff.

That being said, she's simply following in the footsteps of all the leftist icons who have come before!

She's simply following in the footsteps of all the leftist icons who have come before!

She's simply following in the footsteps of all the leftist icons who have come before!
