There's been a disturbing trend of sex therapists and radical gender theorists trying to soft-pedal pedophilia into mainstream discussions.

Here, Libs of TikTok exposes a counselor and sex therapist, Miranda Galbreath, who is joining the growing coalition of people trying to make the world more accepting of literal pedophiles.

"Pedophile" is too stigmatized a word for people sexually attracted to kids, so these enlightened folks want to push Minor Attracted Persons (MAPS) onto society.

Ok, groomer.

I want to talk about minor attracted persons because they are probably the most vilified population of folks in our culture.

There's a group of folks out there that want to have sex with children, and society is for some reason not very friendly to those people.

Gee, I wonder why!

Normal folks just don't seem to take kindly to folks that want to have sex with their kids. Weird.

Galbreath goes on to describe the terrible plight of pedos and how our society is so unaccepting of them.

Those assumptions create harm for an already marginalized population.

You may have noticed that I'm using the term Minor Attracted Persons, sometimes abbreviated to MAPs instead of the more commonly used term pedophile, and I'm doing this because the term pedophile has moved from being a diagnostic label to being a judgmental, hurtful insult that we hurl at people in order to harm them or slander them.

The term pedophile is harmful because calling a pedo a pedo is mean.

It's the same politically correct language games that saw their heyday in the 90s and 2000s, except now it's being applied to the pedophile "community."

I also prefer person-first language that recognizes that any label we might apply to a person is only part of who they are and doesn't represent everything that they are.

We are all people first with many different aspects and parts of ourselves. And this includes folks who are attracted to minors.

You know, I think that once you're a person who is sexually interested in children, it's kind of fair for society to make that the most important part of who you are.

I don't care if you write, or paint, or collect stamps. The wanting to have sex with kids thing is a pretty defining feature.

This term (MAP) simply means that the person has an enduring sexual or romantic attraction to minors. They have not chosen this attraction, just as the rest of us have not chosen whatever our attraction is.

You don't get to choose to be heterosexual, or gay, or whatever you are. And you don't get to choose to be a minor attracted person.

Some minor attracted persons are attracted to a certain age range and some are not. And some minor attracted persons are exclusively attracted to minors and are not attracted to adults at all. Some minor attracted persons are also attracted to adults.

This therapist sounds like she's just listening to Lady Gaga. "Sorry, they're attracted to kids. They were born this way."

The LGBTQ+ brigade keeps marching on. And what the "+" stands for is becoming clearer by the day.
