This is a very bad look for the London Borough of Croydon:

Four tickets in five days!
And the unidentified man watched it all on CCTV from November 22-26:
'It really put a dampener on my holiday because I kept checking [the camera] to see what was wrong and there was nothing I could do,' the car owner told BBC London.
'I didn't want to go out and do the things I wanted to do because I was worried about the amount of tickets I was accumulating.'

Man was just trying to enjoy his vacation, probably hoping the whole time that his car wouldn't be towed.
Fortunately, the city has waived the parking violations.
Croydon council, which has gone bankrupt three times in the past five years, 'apologised' and claimed the fines were 'cancelled a week before the video was uploaded to social media'.
The local authority insisted it was 'standard practice' to paint around vehicles to prevent delays, but failed to prevent parking attendants from issuing fines.
Get it together, Croydon!
