Nancy Pelosi says Donald Trump has the right to “prove innocence.” DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW LAW WORKS, NANCY??
· Mar 31, 2023 · NottheBee.com

The actual heck, Nancy??!

She's talking about Trump's indictment on stupid charges, which really aren't about Trump but the reaction the lefties want from Trump voters (don't take the bait).

Despite the fact that they just secured a Trump 2024 victory with this utter, historic hackery (now that this sordid can of worms is opened I can't wait for the entire Biden family to be indicted a thousand times over), the lefties are celebrating the end of Orange Man because they presume him guilty.

But that's not how this works.

Even Twitter knows that.

The concept of innocence being presumed until proven guilty is not a new concept. It's not even uniquely American. It was the standard of law, for example, in the Roman Empire since at least the 2nd century AD under Emperor Antoninus Pius. Even further back, the Bible gives the standard of proving guilt (not innocence) with at least two or more witnesses.

"Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat" – "Proof lies on him who asserts, not on him who denies."

Go back to eating your posh ice cream, Nancy.

You have nothing left to contribute except vapid tweets that future historians will use to explain your role in the decline of the Republic.
