Representative Burchett demands to know why the United States gave a visa to "the Taliban YouTuber"

Well, at least it's legal immigration, right?

I saw this from Representative Burchett and I honestly couldn't believe it was real.

Yeah, the United States really gave a Visa to a dude whose YouTube channel is filled with him talking to Taliban leaders. The dude is an Afghan, he came through Turkey, and recently landed at Dulles outside of DC.

With a United States visa in hand.

Rahimi, whose YouTube account is filled with videos of his travels and meetings with Taliban officials, received a U.S. visa in September at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, and came to the U.S. by way of Turkey, according to Burchett and Vets4NRF, a U.S. military veterans group. Rahimi boasted about obtaining a U.S. visa in a YouTube video posted on his account in late September. He has roughly 12,000 subscribers on the platform.

Like, I can't even imagine the levels of stupidity it takes to see the Taliban YouTuber apply for a visa and then say, "Yeah, send him on through!" It's not like this would be difficult to discover. You could Google him and find his YouTube channel.

We just arrested a different Afghani for attempting an election day attack. And now we find out this dude has been here for weeks? With full permission.

Rahimi, the Afghan man highlighted by Burchett, 'has been authorized to enter restricted areas controlled by the Taliban and the Haqqani network, including terrorist training camps and the residences of former senior government officials,' Burchett claimed in his letter ...

'This situation is especially alarming, considering that many evacuated members of the former Afghan military and their families live in the areas Mr. Rahimi has visited,' Burchett wrote in the letter to Blinken. 'I am deeply concerned for their safety, as well as the well-being of the Afghan American community and U.S. veterans of the Global War on Terrorism, who have fought bravely against the Taliban terrorists for over two decades.'

We fought them over there so we wouldn't have to fight them over here.

Then we give them visas to come over here.

Brilliant!

Burchett also details the man's videos of Taliban training facilities, talks with multiple well known and FBI wanted Taliban leaders.

But, yeah, he passed all of our "screening" to be given a visa. So ... he's welcomed here!

Here's the entirety of Tim Burchett's letter to Blinken:
