Twitter has locked a hugely popular North Korea parody account because they say it violated rules against "impersonation" 🤦

If you've ever run across the Twitter account DPRK News Service, you'll know that it's a viciously savage parody of the psychopathic dictatorship that currently runs the country of North Korea.

Well, that terrific account is no more as of this week, according to its creator:

Okay, so, uh...

Twitter is banning an obvious parody of a mass-murdering autocracy because it's...misleading? Confusing? Deceptive?

Was somebody actually under the impression that DPRK News Service was a real DPRK account?

And if so...what does it matter? The vast majority of people got the joke.

How was this account harmful in any way, to anyone (except maybe the murderous communists that run North Korea)?

Twitter is dead. Plan your social media usage accordingly.
