With a 40-mile convoy of Russian forces on the way to Kyiv this morning, I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of this soon.

In the eastern city of Kharkiv, Russian forces have become more aggressive with attacks on residential areas – actions that may lead to catastrophic loss of life if they continue to ramp up.

On Tuesday morning, Ukrainian authorities released another video of a missile hitting a government building where civilians were driving mere feet away:

With Russian forces descending on the capital of Kyiv, civilians remaining in the city are continuing to flee, now with a more urgent and panicked tone:

Reuters shared this image of Russian forces moving toward the capital on Monday:

Satellite images taken on Monday show a Russian military convoy north of the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv that stretches for about 40 miles (64 km), substantially longer than the 17 miles (27 km) reported earlier in the day, a U.S. private company said.

Maxar Technologies (MAXR.N) also said additional ground forces deployments and ground attack helicopter units were seen in southern Belarus, less than 20 miles (32 km) north of the Ukraine border.

Unfortunately, we will likely see many more such horrific explosions before the Battle for Kyiv is over.
