Crazy stuff out of Brooklyn this week:

There was a dramatic end to a horrific chain of events in Brooklyn as people pulled an overturned minivan off its driver.

Police say the man crashed after hitting two cars at a different location, then striking two pedestrians at a crosswalk in Brownsville - a 26-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl.

'It sounded like a bomb exploded. I mean, it was really, really loud,' said one eyewitness.

It's not surprising that it "sounded like a bomb exploded," especially when you see that footage above.

Thankfully, it sounds like the woman and the girl will be fine. But of course that still left the drunk driver to be tended to — and give them credit, a bunch of local men came to the guy's aid pretty quickly:

Well done, gentlemen!

Witnesses noted that there "was a bottle of Cognac on the pavement near the crash. Another bottle of alcohol was visible inside the vehicle."

Well, the guy's out of the wreck, but I have a feeling he's going to prison!
