"Where are the police?" Minneapolis City Council complains to police chief about surge in crime ... after they voted to defund and abolish the police!

Just three months after voting to defund, dismantle, and eliminate their city's police department and "end policing as we know it," the super-woke Minneapolis City Council took their police chief to task about the current surge in crime occurring in the city that THAT ANYONE WITH A FUNCTIONING PREFRONTAL CORTEX COULD HAVE SEEN COMING AS CLEAR AS DAY.

As more people have been murdered in the city through the first nine months of 2020 than in all of 2019, the patchouli-drenched members of the Minneapolis City Council held a virtual meeting Tuesday with Police Chief Medaria Arradondo and spent two hours complaining to him about the skyrocketing crime and insufficient, you know, policing.

One council member, Phillipe Cunningham, said:

"My constituents are looking at me like, 'What is the city doing?' MPD is not showing up. When they get here, [officers] say, 'Oh, well, we're just running from call to call, so we can't really do anything.'"

City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins (who is a dude who identifies as a woman) asked Arradondo:

"The level of gun violence, drug dealing, intimidation, extortion, people are having to pay to get out of their alleys. Are we doing anything to be engaged and resolve these problems?"

Another council balloonhead, Jamal Osman, said:

"Residents are asking, 'Where are the police?' That is the only public safety option they have at the moment. MPD. They rely on MPD. And they are saying they are nowhere to be seen."
