A viral video shows the capture of Angel Gabriel Cuz-Choc - a 31-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala who stabbed his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter to death.

After a massive manhunt by Florida police, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister described the scene as "extremely gruesome" during an emotional media briefing last week.

I am taken back by the level of pure evil that has transpired when our suspect brutally murdered an innocent woman and a young child.

The victims were identified as 36-year-old Amalia Choc de Pec and her daughter Estrella Pec Coc.

According to Chronister, the three of them came to the U.S. illegally several months ago.

This murderer who brutally murdered and committed this heinous, vile and unthinkable crime against these two innocent victims is under arrest.

Chronister reported that law enforcement quickly responded to a mobile home in Dover around 5:30 p.m. following the discovery of a woman and her daughter's bodies by a roommate.

The woman was found behind the mobile home in a pool of blood, while the 4-year-old girl was discovered deceased inside the residence.

Additionally, a neighbor mentioned hearing a woman scream earlier in the day but didn't think much of it because hearing screams was apparently a regular occurrence.

Authorities have stated that Cuz-Choc is not believed to be the biological parent of the daughter; instead, they think that the girl's biological father is still in Guatemala.

The body camera footage showed the moment a K-9 officer found Cuz-Choc before his arrest. Authorities stated that the man confessed to the killings. He faces two charges of first-degree murder, with additional charges pending, according to the police.
