The 12-year-old boy was playing on a phone near the entrance to his dad's office in Nashik, India, when the leopard casually walked in off the street.

That's what I call a smart kid!

The kid obviously knows what to do around wild animals, keeping very calm, and slowly backing out the door while keeping his eyes on the animal the whole time.

Shortly after the boy's quick exit, authorities arrived and tranquilized the 5-year-old leopard. Thankfully they were able to remove the large cat without incident.

Nonetheless, if I were this boy, I don't think I'd be playing on my phone with the door wide open again anytime soon.

This encounter was just a little too close for comfort.
