Okay, is ABC News just openly attempting to get sued for defamation these days?

Cuz look at this tweet they put out just libeling to pieces Daniel Penny, the marine vet who subdued a homeless man who was threatening the lives of New York subway passengers back in 2023, resulting in the man's death.

"The former Marine who choked a homeless man to death last May on a New York City subway car."

Looks like ABC must already know the outcome of the trial, huh?

If you don't remember, Daniel Penny is on video using a trained chokehold to subdue a homeless man who was acting violent on the NYC subway. He is also on video putting the man into the recovery position to ensure he could breathe.

The man later died.

ABC put out this tweet Wednesday morning, and the internet has had some thoughts.

Seriously, you do not hate journalists quite enough as you should.

This trial is set to begin in October, so get your racism hats ready for the election. Penny has raised $3 million for his defense as of right now.
