Gov. Newsom announces new Hate Hotline so informants can report their neighbors to the state

Look at any totalitarian state and you'll find that the leaders initiated some kind of system where ordinary people acted as state informants.

Mussolini had his Organization for Vigilance and Repression of Anti-Fascism (OVRA), Hitler his Gestapo, Stalin his People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (which later became the KGB), Mao his Red Guards, Castro his Dirección de Inteligencia (DI), and California Governor Gavin Newsom has his CA vs Hate (CVH).

That's right. California has taken the next step of social control by turning its citizens against each other in fear of state reprisal.

The California legislature passed legislation creating the new No Hate hotline, where citizens can report all the hateful freedom-loving kulaks, and Newsom signed it into law to the tune of $110 million.

"Here in California, we are sending an unequivocal message that hate will not be tolerated," said Governor Newsom. "We stand firm for a California for All and it is important that we hold perpetrators accountable for their actions and provide resources for those individuals victimized by hate crimes. Now, Californians have another tool to ensure that not only justice is served, but that individuals have access to additional resources to help deal with the lingering wounds that remain after such a horrendous crime occurs."

The announcement said the law was needed because reported hAte cRiMeS were on the rise.

And I guess they wanted those numbers to get even higher. A hate hotline should get every busy body, offended, cry baby in the state reporting thousands - maybe millions - more hate acts.

The hate acts can be reported in 15 different languages through the online portal and in over 200 languages when calling the hotline.

So just what can be reported?

According to the online portal, EVERYTHING!

A hostile expression or action committed, in whole or in part, because of a person's actual or perceived identity(ies) or characteristic(s), including race, color, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender, including gender identity, and/or because that person is a part of a protected group.

There are two main kinds of hate incidents - (1) acts of hate that are not crimes but violate civil rights laws, and (2) acts of hate that may not violate the law. Both types cause significant harm to communities.

Some examples of hate incidents can include: derogatory name calling, bullying, hate mail, and refusing service.

Under California law, a hate crime is a criminal act committed, in whole or in part, because of one or more of the following actual or perceived characteristics of the victim: disability, gender, gender identity, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation; or because of the person's association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.

Like the Grinch going through a phonebook, those crazy lefties can report all the innocents of Whovillians right to the Cali-stapo!

By the time the lines and website are bogged down with reports, California will look like the most hate-filled state in the nation.

And they'll be able to get those prisons they emptied out during the pandemic full again. Only this time, they'll be full of people who oppose the state's agenda.

Commies gonna commie!
