With the U.S, Justice Department fabricating the Russian collusion hoax and the effort by Democrats across the country trying to unfairly indict the former president, many on the Right are wondering how we got this far.

I don't have the answers myself. Nor do I necessarily agree with any of the above answers. But there's a deep, deep problem with the failure of the Right and we're all struggling to figure out what it is.

The answer may even be as simple as this:

Where did conservatives go wrong? Were they ever right? Were there ever any true conservatives in power?
