Mike Dickson, an esteemed sportswriter with the Daily Mail, has collapsed and died in Melbourne while covering the Australian Open, his family have announced.

The same Mike Dickson who wrote these words about Novak Djokovic when the athlete continually refused to take the clot shot.

Dickson referred to Djokovic as "deplorable" and seemed to have a singular fixation on his unvaccinated status. "He says he wants more information, but how much more does he need?
