You'll remember, Biden did this EXACT same thing in June and his White House had to spend DAYS backtracking Biden's statement.

Yeah, this is a pattern.

Anyway, China is ticked off by Joe's statement, and while I'm all for ticking off commies who brutally oppress billions of people, I'd like it if we could have consistent messaging before we kick off the end of days.

The Chinese foreign ministry said on Monday that China has lodged "stern representations" with the United States, after U.S. President Joe Biden said U.S. forces would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.

China reserves the right to take all necessary measures in response to activities that split the nation apart, said Mao Ning, spokesperson at the foreign ministry, at a regular media briefing.

No big deal, just Joe Biden trying to start WW3 on your average Sunday night!
