"Migrant" charged with death of U.S. senator’s advisor was released by Biden's Border Patrol. Watch the senator say there is no open border.

Man, this is the one time I'm not going to say "you get what you vote for."

This is just tragic and, of course, completely avoidable.

Yeah, another American was allegedly killed because of Biden's open borders. This time it hit closer to home as Kurt Englehart, an adviser to Nevada's Democrat senator Catherine Cortez Masto, was struck and killed by an 18-year-old illegal alien in a hit-and-run.

Elmer Rueda-Linares was in a two-vehicle crash about 4:30 a.m. April 6 at Kietzke and Peckham lanes that killed Kurt Englehart, state senior adviser to Cortez Masto, a Democrat.

On April 8, federal officers placed an immigration detainer — or "ICE hold" — on Rueda-Linares, who is being held at Washoe County Jail, the Department of Homeland Security told the RGJ in a statement Tuesday.

The court has dropped charges in the deadly crash from a felony hit-and-run to the lower charge of leaving the scene of an accident. The illegal alien is sitting in jail with a $100,000 bond right now.

Of course, Rueda-Linares doesn't belong in the US. He crossed the border illegally 3 years ago. He was arrested shortly after crossing but released on his own recognizance.

And now, 3 years on, a husband and father is dead because of our inability to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.

"Rueda entered the United States March 12, 2021, at or near the Rio Grande City, Texas, Port of Entry without inspection by an immigration official," DHS said. "United States Customs and Border Protection arrested him, and he was later released on his own recognizance June 22, 2021."

Funny how DHS has a record of when all these people broke into the country but doesn't have the ability to, you know, kick them out.

Almost like the folks at DHS want the flood of illegal aliens in the US...

I'll leave you with this ironic clip from Englehart's boss, Sen. Masto:

A GoFund me for Englehart's family is here.
