We all had an inkling that this had happened, but now we know:

Some of those weapons are now in the hands of Palestinians in Gaza — the same Palestinians who savagely attacked Israel over the weekend. And I hate to say it, but, similar to the rest of you, I am not surprised in the slightest at this. The Taliban is an Islamic terrorist group and Hamas is an Islamic terrorist group (both are Sunni too); like, bro, they're going to mingle in such a way.
From a Newsweek report back in summer with input from a "high-ranking Israel Defense Forces commander":
More recently, the Taliban secured a substantial arsenal of U.S. weapons and equipment, including Black Hawk helicopters, after U.S. forces withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021. The Israeli commander with whom Newsweek spoke said some of the U.S. small arms seized in Afghanistan have already been observed in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip.
And now we have this:
Yeah man, this is very serious stuff. We talked day in and day out after we pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021 about what would happen with the weapons we left behind. We even joked about it at the time, because our leaders are such imbeciles, but now it's getting serious as the details emerge.
Look at this dude with the short-barreled M4 machine gun (illegal for Americans to own). Heck, look at that vertical grip! If I were to put that on what the ATF classifies as an "AR-pistol," I would be in violation of the law. But it's okay if Middle Eastern terrorists have all that!
We're literally funding both sides of this Israeli, Palestinian war, and to make matters worse, the terrorists are using our weapons we left in Afghanistan to fight.
What an absolute disgrace.
Knowing that the taxes we spent for two decades to fund the "War on Terror" helped equip terrorists is not only the peak of irony, but the greatest shame our nation has had in my lifetime.
