Let's be clear here: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" isn't just some fluffy chant pro-Palestine protesters use in order to pump themselves up — it's a phrase that is actually calling for the erasure of Israel as a whole.
"From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free" is a common call-to-arms for pro-Palestinian activists, especially student activists on college campuses. It calls for the establishment of a State of Palestine from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, erasing the State of Israel and its people. It is also a rallying cry for terrorist groups and their sympathizers, from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) to Hamas, which called for Israel's destruction in its original governing charter in 1988.
Yet here we have hundreds of students over at University of Massachusetts Amherst uttering that exact chant. We've heard this chant at universities across the country as well.

These same kids occupied the UMass Amherst admin building long after it closed on Thursday, leading to 57 arrests for trespassing.
Fifty-seven pro-Palestinian protestors at the University of Massachusetts Amherst were arrested by campus police Wednesday night for trespassing during a sit-in protest at the Whitmore Administration Building, where students demanded Chancellor Javier Reyes condemn the Israel Defense Forces' attacks on Gaza and cut the university's ties with defense contractor Raytheon Technology.
Students rallied in front of the student union at 2 p.m. before marching to the Whitmore building to meet with administrators to present their demands. They remained inside the building after hours, in spite of "multiple verbal warnings" that the building was closing at 6 p.m., the university said in a statement. UMass Police arrested 56 UMass Amherst students and one UMass Amherst employee, the university said.
Notice they don't ask for condemnation of Hamas over the October 7 terrorist attack.
Interesting, huh?
Here are the kids shouting at police. Second video shows the occupation of the admin building.
This is what we call "useful idiots," folks. They don't know why they're there, they just show up because it's the hip thing to do.
I sure am glad these weren't MAGA Republicans, or else we'd have a week's worth of coverage of this from mainstream media.
