A Brewers pitcher was celebrating after they clinched the NL Central and then he got drunk and punched a wall, fracturing his pitching hand. He'll now miss the entire postseason.

Oh man, this one stings.

Devin Williams is one of the most important pitchers in the bullpen for the Brewers and now he'll be out for the playoffs.

THE PLAYOFFS!

You know, that time of year when your team's pitching game is of utmost importance…

Dude's done.

The 2020 NL Rookie of the Year and Reliever of the Year.

Done.

All because he got drunk celebrating the Brewers' NL Central-clinching victory on Sunday and decided to PUNCH A WALL WITH HIS PITCHING HAND!

What a dumb move. Like, use your other hand at least, bro.

The people of Milwaukee—the people of Wisconsin as a whole—love them some baseball. And this was THE YEAR, as cliché as it is to say that. The Brewers have this tendency to play really well until about mid-August and then kinda just ride out the rest of the season at or below .500, maybe making the playoffs, maybe missing them. This year has been different. They're killing it. They're likely going deep into the playoffs.

And the picture looked a lot better with reliever Devin Williams in the lineup.

Sad.

This dude let his team down in a baaaad way.

Here he is talking about it [warning, cringe]:

I give him credit for doing this interview.

Still, what a dummy!
