It seems like one of a farmer's best weapons is a tractor full of manure.
Whether that's facing off with police over insane climate change restrictions ...
Or driving trespassers off their land, as in the case of this British farmer, Jack Bellamy, who caught a cyclist camping in one of his fields.
Watch what happened.
Bellamy said,
When my dad went back later the tent was gone, there was a white patch where the tent was and the slurry hadn't been. I would hate to think what he smells like now.
There is a campsite 400 yards in one direction and 600 yards in the other but they just please themselves these people. We've had people from towns walking in the fields.
There is 50,000 acres of Dartmoor nearby and he chose to camp in my field. They come up from the towns and think they can do what they want. We've had loads of trouble with dogs worrying the sheep.
They wouldn't like it if I went camping in their garden. They've got no knowledge of the countryside at all. They come up from the towns and think they can do what they want. They probably think food grows on a plant or something.
Reactions online have been mixed.
Some siding with the farmer against the trespasser.
Some siding with the camper and calling for assault charges.
For the most part, it's the usual internet squabbles.
But some of the comments are truly concerning: the sorts of things we try to bring attention to because this zeitgeist is prolific in the western world right now, and needs to be tamped out before it's too late.
These sorts of communist "it's all our land" and "we can get food at the store" ideas are exactly why socialist states always end in starvation.
Farmers are essential.
The concept is so simple, even animals understand.
If you treat the people with the food nice, they will feed you. If you bite the hand that feeds you, you'll go hungry.
