Ladies and gentlemen, the state of the Republican Party:
This amendment to the spending bill would've killed funding for abortion, "gender-affirming care," and DEI programs. This was all part of a giant spending bill that avoided a government shutdown at the end of the month and also gives a bunch of cash to ICE.
Another 57 Republicans also voted to put Biden's kill switches in cars.
Massie, who has become a polarizing figure in the GOP recently, was against the kill switch and offered an amendment to rid the bill of it.

The giant spending bill, which at least throws a bunch of money at ICE, now heads to the Senate, where Republicans hold a slim majority.
