Video: First roundabout in rural eastern Kentucky confuses the heck out of drivers

If you want a prime example of how to NOT use a roundabout, this is it:

This roundabout was installed in northeastern Kentucky at an intersection of two highways known for its high rate of accidents.

If you don't know, this is how a roundabout is supposed to work:

A month ago, authorities announced they'd be installing said roundabout, much to the chagrin of locals who noted the number of drivers with large trailers that travel that route:

To be fair to the locals, their concerns about large trailers were proved right rather quickly when a semi got stuck in the dang intersection last week:

At the end of the day, maybe Americans need to abandon all hope of good traffic flow at certain intersections and just embrace the chaos of how much of the world drives.
