This was the Women's All-Ireland T20 Cup cricket semi-final match, and it looks like this pooch had had enough of watching the ball fly around the field – tempting him with every redirect – so he just ditched his owner and ran out there to play, leash and all.

I mean, I can't blame the dog. I'd have probably done the same thing.

Like, who brings a dog to a ballgame like this?

I feel like it could be considered torture.

It's like if you took me to Oktoberfest and made me just watch people drink beer.

No.

Oh, and this is just beautiful: the International Cricket Council went and did this.
