Maryland court rules parents do not have a "fundamental right" to opt their children out of classroom instruction on the LGBT religion

You don't need me to tell you anymore to get your kid out of public school. You know already. How could you not, with news like this an almost daily occurrence?

A federal court in Maryland decided Thursday that parents can't opt their kids out of reading books with LGBTQ+ content in Montgomery County Schools.

Translation: "We own your children, comrade."

The Montgomery County parents in this case were looking to reinstate a county school policy that would let them opt out of LGBT-themed readings in elementary school.

(It's already bizarre and creepy that we're teaching alternative sexualities to very young children in school; it doesn't seem unreasonable to let parents shield their kids from it.)

The judge in the case, Deborah Boardman, was not sympathetic. In her ruling, Her Honor claimed that the parents'

asserted due process right to direct their children's upbringing by opting out of a public-school curriculum that conflicts with their religious views is not a fundamental right.

The judge further claimed that the parents in this case "are not pressured into violating their religious beliefs in order to obtain the benefits of a public education."

Uh huh. This public education doesn't sound very "beneficial" to me at this point. In fact it sounds like a rank indoctrination camp.

Isn't it interesting that your kids have the opportunity to opt out of Christian religious teachings in school (in fact, they are outright banned in most places), but you can't opt out of the sex cult taught by the State?

Montgomery County parents: You fought the good fight. You did your best. Now get your kids out of those schools.
