This is the kind of headline that gets you asking the important questions. Questions like, WHY IN THE WORLD ARE SCHOOLS IN THE UNITED STATES HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS???
I think that's a pretty legit question.
There is no explanation that I will accept for employing a twice-deported El Salvadoran illegal immigrant as a school teacher in the United States. There's no legitimate reason to put kids in this guy's care.
On Monday, police arrested a Maryland teacher on child sex abuse charges. Authorities revealed that the teacher is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador and had been previously deported.
Ervin Jeovany Alfaro Lopez, 33, has been accused of sexually abusing at least three minors between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. Police said the abuse occurred between 2016 and 2018 at the Elim Gaithersburg Church he had been teaching at in Maryland.
It's not a public school this time. This time it's a CHURCH that I am sure is just living out the charity to all mission and allowing a criminal alien to teach kids.
Disgustingly, the report shows that Lopez would inappropriately touch minors while their eyes were closed during prayer. He'd also use the opportunity of showing movies to the class in a dark room to be inappropriate with children in his class as well.
Lopez was picked up in Louisiana in 2015, ordered to be deported in 2018, illegally re-entered the country and then deported again in 2020, and sometime between 2020 and now he was found back in the United States.
Let's just say Lopez is a regular offender.
Lopez is being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without bond.The first victim came forward in May 2023, which resulted in three more victims informing police about the abuse between September 2023 and January 2024.
There's no reason for this man to be in the country. He's illegally here so there's also certainly no way this Church and Christian School did any sort of proper background check on the individual.
This is just a major screwup on every single level and now at least three young kids are paying the price for it.
