Bro, the Portland Pickles let a fan play on the team on Fan Appreciation Night and the kid did not disappoint.

He took a walk early and ended up scoring, caught a flyball in left, and then in the 8th he went yard with a 2-run homer!

Box score says the Pickles won 9-5.

And this wasn't just any fan.

That's Eli Steinhaus who plays D3 ball up the street at Lewis and Clark College.

And with the West Coast League being a summer collegiate program, it was only fitting that a D3 kid come in there and make some noise with the D1 players on the field.

Just a little revisit cuz this is so awesome:

He even got a gatorade bath:

And the Pickles "signed" him to a one-day contract.

I see big things ahead for the legend, "Dixie."
