A nice little brawl broke out at the final buzzer of game 5 between the Rangers and Lightning and it was nice to see the refs just let it happen

I feel like you don't see much of this anymore in the NHL, so when it happens, especially in the playoffs, it's just a delight.

Let me break it down though, before I show you the video.

In this clip, up 3-1 with less than ten seconds to go, Tampa's obviously going to win game five, and they probably should've just skated over to their goalie to celebrate their third straight victory over the Rangers.

Now, there are a lot of unwritten rules in hockey, including the one where you never, ever shoot at the opposing goal after the play is dead, or in this instance, when the game has ended. It's just plain disrespectful to do this.

However, being an unwritten rule, it is not enforced by the referees.

I guess one could argue that the hook from Rangers Defenseman Adam Fox was the igniter here, but either way we got a hockey fight and that's all that matters.

Those are hard to come by these days!
