According to the fake news headlines, like those at Newsweek, a "Texas pastor" was recently arrested by ICE.
However, this person is not a "Texas pastor," he is an illegal immigrant who works as a "pastor" while knowingly violating United States law.
Alondra Gutierrez, the pastor's daughter, recounted the moment her father, Adolfo, an undocumented immigrant, was snatched by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in south Texas on March 18, 2025. Agents allegedly slammed him against a car door, Alondra said.
Okay, you may have guessed that this story is the first time Newsweek has positively covered someone as a "pastor" in about half an eternity.
(Because the only Christians the mainstream media is sympathetic towards are those who side with the political left.)
Alondra claims that her father "did everything right" because he got a job and paid taxes.
'There has to be more education on how to help the families going through this. When we would go through a lawyer… we had to pay a tremendous amount to even get some answers. They don't give you any clarifications,' she said.
Amid the looming threat of deportation, Alondra remains optimistic. 'If that is the case, we are steadfast in God and His plans,' she said. 'But my dad has built a life here. He's done everything right. He's paid his taxes, and worked hard.'
First, they rely on God and his plans. But also, they are totally cool with breaking the law to stay in the United States illegally because, for some reason, their Bible doesn't address nations, borders, laws, and being obedient to governing authority?

The pastor ought to do a little critical thinking.
The Christian thing to do, obviously, would be to repent by self-deporting and, like a good dad, taking your family back home with you to take care of them.
Somehow, I doubt this pastor will come to the same conclusion.
