New Inspector General's report shows Biden left $7 BILLION in equipment for the Taliban and NO ONE has been fired or disciplined for the disaster

This true debacle is the most embarrassing and disastrous military event I've seen in my lifetime.

In his hurry to leave Afghanistan to the Taliban, allowing terrorists to retake the country, it has now been revealed in an Inspector General's report that Joe Biden and his generals left $7 BILLION (with a B) worth of equipment behind for the Taliban.

The DoD estimated that U.S.-funded equipment valued at $7.12 billion was in the inventory of the former Afghan government when it collapsed, much of which has since been seized by the Taliban. This included military aircraft, ground vehicles, weapons, and other military equipment. The condition of these items was unknown, and the long-term operability of the vehicles was likely to deteriorate without U.S. contractor maintenance. The U.S. military removed or destroyed nearly all major equipment used by U.S. troops in Afghanistan throughout the drawdown period in 2021.

We left behind billions and billions of dollars of equipment paid for by the American taxpayer

For no reason at all.

And the worst part of all?

NO ONE has been held responsible for this preventable disaster.

Gen. Mark Milley claimed he thought about resigning because of a Trump photo-op, but he has no qualms about keeping his job after the shameful abandonment of American blood and treasure in Afghanistan.

Decent men would resign in shame (and the ancients would fall on their swords), yet here we are a year later and no one has lost their job, been demoted, or punished in any way.
