Hard news out of West Texas this week:
A line of severe storms produced multiple tornadoes Wednesday evening on the Rolling Plains of West Texas, including one that killed four people, injured 9 others and caused significant damage around the Matador community.
The storms reportedly produced "softball-size hail and wind gusts topping 100 mph" in some locations.

You don't see "debarking" and scouring on just an average tornado. It's a sure sign that this thing packed a nasty punch.
More than 60 tornadoes have touched down in the South over the past week, including one in Perryton, Texas that killed three.
