A week ago, we told you about a group of guys who allegedly perpetrated a smash and grab at a Louis Vuitton store in Chicago.
Here's that video again:
The Democratic Party, especially in Illinois, has gone all-out in recent weeks to prove that it can handle crime without federal assistance.
Here's how that's going 👇
Yes, that's JB Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, posing with a man accused of robbery and manslaughter.
At a "peacekeeper" event.
And the perp was wanted in 4 separate states for prior crimes.

Here's CWB:
Less than a week before a crash-and-grab burglary crew killed an innocent man on the Magnificent Mile last Thursday, one of the men now charged with that murder donned a 'peacekeeper' uniform and posed for a one-on-one picture with Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker.
While that's troubling, some law enforcement experts are more concerned that the accused man was able to stand directly next to the state's most powerful executive despite having outstanding warrants in four states.
35-year-old Kellen McMiller was in the car that hit and killed an innocent man who was driving to work on the morning of September 11. McMiller's car was doing over 70, running red lights, and driving recklessly through the city after the crime.
Everyone in the car, including McMiller, was hospitalized after the accident.
Just six days earlier, McMiller and Pritzker posed side-by-side for a picture as the governor met with 'peacekeepers' in Englewood. In a press release issued later that day, the governor's office called the group ''trusted messengers' in the community.'
'It's folks like these that we need more of doing the hard work of community violence prevention,' Pritzker said on Facebook, 'not troops on the ground to undermine efforts fighting crime.'
IRONY OF IRONIES.
(The governor's office has since scrubbed the picture from its press release)
