Amazon introduces new "pay like a Jedi" technology
· Sep 29, 2020 · NottheBee.com

Amazon's physical stores now have a feature that allows you to pay for your items with a simple wave of your hand!

Sadly, other Jedi mind tricks won't work so well

Customers can register by having their hand biometrically scanned and inserting a credit card to have associated with their hand. After that, a simple wave over the scanner will complete the purchase process going forward.

Amazon is piloting this technology in their own stores, but hopes other stores will adopt it, as well.

I'm sure it won't be long before they introduce an identifying mark on your hand or forehead to make the process even simpler!

Wouldn't want to be Left Behind in the tech race...

Of course, if my recent amazon web purchases are any indication, you'll still have to wait several weeks to actually bring your purchases home, and half of them will go missing.

No joke... I've received this message 3-4 times in the past month.
