"Arrest made in death of Jewish protester who fell and hit his head"
CLOWNS.
69-year-old Paul Kessler was reportedly pushed by anti-Israel protester Loay Abdelfattah Alnaji, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, during the November 6th protests in Thousand Oaks, California.
Alnaji even has a mugshot from his arrest:
Why was he arrested because a guy "fell and hit his head," CNN?
Alnaji is a professor at a community college, because of course he is.
But here's the icing on the cake: CNN changed its headline after the blowback.
See how they still maintain their framing?
- "Man arrested," not "Muslim man" or "pro-Palestinian protester." Just "man." The media always uses plain "man" when they are allied with whomever did the bad stuff.
- The death happened "after confrontation." Who did the confronting? CNN leaves the "who" question ambiguous here on purpose, even though one man is in jail and the other is dead.
Fox notes this isn't the first headline CNN has changed on the story:
CNN previously updated a headline regarding its original coverage of Kessler's death. A Nov. 7 article was originally titled "Man in California dies after suffering head injury at pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian demonstrations" according to the Wayback Machine. Hours later, the article was reedited to "Jewish man dies from head injury following โinteraction' with pro-Palestinian demonstrator in California, authorities say."
A CNN spokesperson told Fox News Digital the headline was updated to be stronger and clearer.
Kessler was there with his wife and counter protests were happening across an intersection from each other. Why was Alnaji over by the Jewish protesters? Why was he in Paul Kessler's face? Why did he strike Paul Kessler, according to multiple witnesses?
These are key details we need to know!
After all, if there were evidence that Kessler had struck Alnaji first and it was self-defense, that might be relevant! Alnaji is under arrest with a $1 million bond and police are asking for recordings from vehicles with cameras on them, like Teslas, that were in the area, which seems to indicate they need more evidence.
Imagine (just a crazy thought here) if we had an industry where people were paid to investigate those details and report them to us.
But nah, we get this:
I hate clown world.
