File this under the category of things you never thought you'd have to hear. An Idaho man is facing some steep fines after being caught cooking chickens in the hot springs at Yellowstone National Park.
The man was part of a group that had been hiking near the Shoshone Geyser Basin when they were spotted carrying pots that looked quite suspicious to a passerby. When alerted, authorities responded and found the man cooking two chickens in a thermal geyser, with the chickens wrapped in a sack.
The man has been banned from the park, yet it's unclear if he learned his lesson that it's much more cost effective to just get your chicken cooked at Chick-fil-A. You won't get banned from a national park, you'll be treated like royalty, and I'm sure peanut oil makes a much more tasty chicken than geyser steam. Plus they have a play gym for the kiddos that is 100% safe from buffalo stampedes.
