Men who pretend to be women so they can try to serve their prison time with the ladies are apparently victims in Trump's America. That is, according to Uncloseted Media, which published this article earlier in the month.
The piece argues that because Trump wants men out of women's prisons and is acting on this, these trans inmates are "victims" and he's probably a fascist or something.
Here's how the piece covers "Patricia" Trimble, one of the "victims":
Trans women in prison are also losing the little support they had. Patricia Trimble, a 66-year-old trans woman, writer and advocate, has been incarcerated in men's facilities in Missouri since 1979. While in prison, she's pursued paralegal studies at Platt Junior College, theology at St. Louis University and business at Central Methodist University.
She's used her education to advocate for herself, often through the Transgender Committee, a group of staff members required by law at each Missouri prison. The committee is meant to help the prison 'make informed recommendations regarding the health and safety of transgender and intersex offenders.'
However, Trimble says that since the start of the year, the committee has become 'absolutely useless.'

Well, Uncloseted Media missed some very important context in this story and Reduxx has it for us:
To Uncloseted Media, Trimble complains about the Trump administration's recent reforms, and claims that staff have recently begun denying his requests for 'gender affirming' care. But while sympathetically detailing Trimble's struggles in a men's prison, the article fails to mention why Trimble is in prison in the first place.
Born Patrick, Trimble was first convicted in 1978 of the brutal rape of two 9-year-old girls in the city of St. Charles, Missouri. Trimble kidnapped the children by tying rope around their wrists and dragging them to his car. The girls were then taken to a remote, wooded area where Trimble proceeded to orally and vaginally assault them. He was arrested shortly after the girls were able to report their horrific ordeal.

But while in prison awaiting the final verdict on his case, Trimble would commit another heinous crime, making what the court would later describe as a 'slave' out of his developmentally disabled cellmate and subjecting him to weeks of torture, rape, and abuse before murdering him.
Trimble pretended to be a Christian minister and then used his authority to get what he wanted out of non-violent criminal Jerry James Everett, going as far as to prostitute out Everett to other inmates. He would later murder Everett, staging it as a suicide.
In 1980, Trimble was sentenced to death for his crimes — but, in 1985, the decision was commuted to a life sentence without the possibility of parole for 50 years. He is currently incarcerated in a men's maximum security prison in Missouri.
Trimble is now a transgender advocate of sorts, and even has a book titled "Finding Purpose: One Transgender Woman's Journey."
So that's one of the transgender inmate "victims" of Trump's America.
Uncloseted Media had another dangerous trans criminal to vouch for though: "Lexie" Handlang, who has "experienced extreme abuse by guards at the men's prison." Let's see what "Lexie" is all about.
Another inmate highlighted in the sympathetic article was Lexie Handlang, born Matthew Ethan Handlang. Handlang is currently serving a 20 year sentence for the murder of his own baby.
In 2014, Handlang, who was 26 at the time, pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death in the case of his 3-month-old daughter, Aubrey. While Handlang told police that the child had choked on some water during feeding time, an autopsy found that Aubrey had severe brain swelling, severe brain bleeding, bleeding in the spinal cord, and acute bleeding in the eyes, all injuries consistent with 'shaken baby syndrome.'
Handlang later admitted that he repeatedly shook the child 'until a clear liquid dripped from her nose' after becoming frustrated with her, and lied to police as he was worried about being arrested.
Yes, this man killed his own baby and Uncloseted decided to portray him as a victim.
The third violent criminal covered by Uncloseted is Andrew "Andrea" Balcer, who we've covered before and the second link here is what makes "Andrea" a "victim."
Yes, you can kill your parents because they don't affirm your fake identity, and Uncloseted Media will still call you the victim in Trump's America!
