Google fires 28 employees who occupied CEO’s office in protest of company's business with Israel

"Hey, Google, show me ungrateful employees making over $100k a year, with benefits and stock options that think they can dictate what their large corporate employer does based on their own misguided delusions."

And there you have it: Google employees, masked up and wearing their stylish kafias, took over Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian's California office for over eight hours this week, demanding that the company cut ties with Israel.

They streamed their protest on Twitch with the tag "notech4apartheid".

The video clearly showed that they were initially asked to leave on their own, but when they refused, the police stepped in and made arrests late Tuesday.

During the live stream, a man approached the protesters, told them they were put on administrative leave, and very politely requested they vacate the premises.

It's getting kinda late.

I wanted to ask you, you know, to cooperate, you've been placed on admin leave and we'd like to see if you'd just voluntarily [leave] it's been a while.

Can you do that for us?

But that's far too calm, collected, and reasonable for this group, so the police had to remove them.

The protests, which also took place at several other Google offices in New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle, were arranged by No Tech for Apartheid and were organized through internal emails to employees outlining a set of demands.

Google, Google, you can't hide! We charge you with genocide!

The protesters claimed that they would stay in the office until Google canceled Project Nimbus (which involves Google and Amazon providing cloud computing infrastructure and services across branches of the Israeli government) and listened to the rest of their demands.

Google, as woke as it is, actually took action and fired the employees.

Back in February, The Daily Wire revealed growing issues with antisemitism at the company, with someone writing "kill all Jews" on a bathroom wall at Google's offices. A Jewish employee was also attacked by anti-Israel protesters on one of their campuses.

In addition, a group of employees tried to turn an International Women's Day event into a platform to criticize Israel.

When you're too radical of a leftist for Google, that's saying something!!
