You knew it was coming.
We are about to enter a political period that will have consequences for the rest of our lives ... we find ourselves in a time in history that has precedent and we find ourselves ... in a time where there are, let's say, peers in history of mass movements of people that mobilized to protect one another in times of fascism and authoritarianism.
And this is the era that we are poised to enter.
Sure, he had four years to do fascism and never did...
But this time he's REALLY going to be a fascist! AOC just knows it!
It is not uncommon for (strongmen friends of Trump) to jail political dissidents or legislative opponents.
Like, pro-life grannies and J6 "paraders"? Is that the kind of political dissident he might jail?
What about his primary political opponent in the election? Can you imagine if he tried to throw his opponent in prison by lobbing multiple court cases at him across the nation?
And just imagine if a president used federal agencies to build alliances with corporations in an attempt to silence opponents through censorship and financial pressure - maybe even using the FBI to directly pressure social media giants into censoring Americans.
Just imagine a president doing such things!
