Apparently fighting against child trafficking is "QAnon" now. Check out this Guardian article about "Sound of Freedom" and ask yourself ... Why would they write this?

I've seen some despicable, sign-tap-worthy takes from the media before, but this one might just take the cake:

Apparently, if you oppose child sex trafficking and support the people doing the good work of rescuing kids, you're a QAnon supporter.

At least that's what the mainstream news wants you to think.

If you go see Sound of Freedom, a true story about child sex trafficking, then you must be a right-wing conspiracy nutjob.

Following that money leads back to a more unsavory network of astroturfed boosterism among the far-right fringe, a constellation of paranoids now attempting to spin a cause célèbre out of a movie with vaguely simpatico leanings. The uninitiated may not pick up on the red-yarn-and-corkboard subtext pinned onto a mostly straightforward extraction mission in South America, pretty much Taken with a faint whiff of something noxious in the air. Those tuned in to the eardrum-perforating frequency of QAnon, however, have heeded a clarion call that leads right to the multiplex.

Oh no! Glenn Beck supports Operation Underground Railroad and the Nazarene Fund! Therefore fighting against innocent children being sold as sex slaves in South America is QAnon. Never mind the truth of the stories and how this is really happening!

Conservatives and Christians support the cause, therefore it's evil.

They're really trying to downplay the seriousness of the MILLIONS of kids being sex trafficked every year. They're really trying to demonize the people fighting against this most heinous of crimes.

Now why would they do that??

Think about it. Are you awake yet?

Go see this movie!
