That totally accidental thing that always happens happened again ...
This time, an Apple "glitch" resulted in iPhone users discovering that the devices dictation feature would sometimes transcribe the word "racist" as - you guessed it -
"Trump."

Apple claims this is just a "bug."
And they're rushing to fix it.
And they're very sorry.
Apparently, this was a "phonetic overlap" problem with words that have the "r" consonant in them.

John Burkey, who used to work on Apple's Siri team, says this "smells like a serious prank."
He continued, "The only question is: Did someone slip this into the data or slip into the code?"
And let's not forget that we've seen similar so-called "glitches" before in the tech world.
But sure, Apple's "Trump = racist" problem was just another innocent error.
