Woke school board votes to stop hiring candidates from Arizona Christian University over latter's biblical definition of marriage

Let me just go ahead and give a hint to any parents out there sending their kids to the Washington Elementary School District outside of Glendale, Arizona: GET YOUR KIDS OUTTA THERE!

Why?

Because the school board over that district just voted to break ties with Arizona Christian University, no longer hiring their graduates, because the CHRISTIAN school is opposed to the secular redefinition of marriage.

And if a teacher doesn't think that gay marriage is good, then they're unfit for hire.

This kind and tolerant school board member is TOTALLY fine with Christianity. UNLESS you actually BELIEVE your faith and live it out. Then that's radical and dangerous!

From The National Desk:

A school board member in Arizona insisted she "could not be safe" in a district that has a contract with a Christian college to bring in new teachers, citing their religious beliefs and arguing they are not inclusive enough.

First reported by Fox News, the Washington Elementary School District (WESD) outside of Glendale, Arizona, decided unanimously earlier this week to dissolve its contract with Arizona Christian University (ACU), which had been feeding the district teacher recruits for 11 years.

Who are these NUTS you people are electing to school boards?

One wacky liberal nut job thinks she's "unsafe" at a school that hires convictional Christians so the entire school board cuts ties with the Christian University that has supplied teachers for more than a decade.

Anti-religious discrimination because of one blue-haired hippie liberal.

Some board members cited ACU's website, which they argued shows the school holds a "strong anti-LGBTQ stance" because it insists that marriage is between a man and a woman.

Oh no! They actually believe that the definition presented in the first chapter of the entire Bible is true!

How dare they!

One member, Tamillia Valenzuela, argued the fact that the school encourages its students to be "biblically minded" did not align with the district's stance on inclusivity.

At least this School Board member realizes what many normie boomer-cons along with woke millennials don't: The modern "inclusivity" movement and Christianity are, in fact, non-compatible.

Marxists have always been anti-Christian.

"When I go to Arizona Christian University's website -- and I'm taking this directly from their website -- 'Above all else be committed to Jesus Christ, accomplishing His will and advancing His kingdom on earth as in Heaven.'

...

I want to know how bringing people from an institution that is engrained in their values that will very directly, one, impact three of your board members who are a part of the LGBT community ... As solidarity let our LGBTQ community know that we stand in making sure they feel protected," Valenzuela said before the board voted to dissolve the district's contract with ACU.

She claims the mission of the school "directly" impacts her and other LGBT board members; however, it's clear it hasn't done anything to affect her ability to bully Christians.

(The real issue is that they want to spread their faith in schools and Christians might hinder their evangelism efforts.)

Valenzuela, who donned a pair of cat ears and refused to stand for the pledge of allegiance during the Feb. 23 board meeting...

said she was very "disheartened" to see the district's contract with ACU renewed.

This is the caliber of person liberals are putting in charge of your children's education.

People who would wear CAT EARS as a member of a school board and not stand for the pledge.

ACU said the WESD board's decision was an attack on their commitment to Christian values.

"The school board's recent decision to ban ACU students from serving as student teachers was done for one reason only: our University's commitment to our Christian convictions," an ACU spokesperson told The National Desk (TND) in a statement. "That's wrong, it's unlawful, and it will only hurt the district's students."

Man, I hope they can sue the pants off of this school district.

WESD board president Nikkie Gomez-Whaley, who voted with the other board members to dissolve the district's contract with ACU, insisted to TND that while it respects the right for individuals to practice their own faith "public schools are secular institutions."

"To that end, the board unanimously voted to discontinue its partnership with Arizona Christian University (ACU) whose policies do not align with our commitment to create a safe place for our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and community," Gomez-Whaley told TND. "This is not a rejection of any particular faith as we remain open to partnering with faith-based organizations that share our commitment to equity and inclusion."

Christians, you and your children, and your beliefs are NOT WELCOME in the public school system.

This should have been clear when they banned the Bible.

But in today's woke world the mission of the schools is to beat any shred of religious conviction out of your kids and turn them into little revolutionaries in the woke Marxist revolution.

These people hate Christians and Christianity.
