... on a home invader.
49-year old Aldwin Serrano of Queensland has been charged for pepper-spraying a man who had broken his window and was attempting to enter his home.
Apparently, pepper spray is illegal in this particular area of Australia.
Australian Party deputy leader Nick Dametto criticized the insanity in a social media post, saying in part:
Cases like this highlight the fact that our state needs stronger self-defence legislation and the appropriate tools to defend ourselves.
It reminds us of this banger quote from Solzhenitsyn about the Soviet Communists:
There is currently a petition to legalize self-defense in Australia. It has 53,000 signatures at the time of publication.
