Axios poll shows majority of Americans support MASS deportation of border hoppers, including 42% of Democrats

Direct quote: "Americans are open to Trump's harshest immigration plans."

Let's look at that chart:

Amazing.

We're not talking about more border security or the wall here. We're not talking about limited deportation of illegals who commit crimes while in America. We're not talking about city-by-city, situation-by-situation nuance.

We're talking about MASS deportations of tens of millions of illegals. And far-left Axios is reporting it!!

Half of Americans — including 42% of Democrats — say they'd support mass deportations of undocumented immigrants, according to a new Axios Vibes survey by The Harris Poll.

  • And 30% of Democrats — as well as 46% of Republicans — now say they'd end birthright citizenship, something guaranteed under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

More bad news for Democrats, who are just now trying to pin the crisis they purposely created on Trump:

Biden so far has failed to shift the narrative: 32% of respondents say his administration is "most responsible" for the crisis, outranking any other political or structural factor.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans say the border crisis is a real threat, not just a political talking point.

Mark Penn, chairman of The Harris Poll and a former pollster for President Clinton, said he was surprised by these results (as most people inside the wealthy liberal bubble probably would be).

"I think they're just sending a message to politicians: 'Get this under control,' " he said, calling it a warning to Biden that "efforts to shift responsibility for the issue to Trump are not going to work."

It's hard for Biden to do much else, however, considering that his secretary of Homeland Security is connected to direct threats to national security 👇

(Doing anything other than attacking Trump might make people notice what they're up to!)

Axios tried to throw a few attack points at Trump because of course, but they still had to conclude that Americans are aligned with his policies much more than Biden's.

Trump has vowed to carry out the "largest domestic deportation operation in American history," eyeing sweeping raids and detention camps in a plan that would target millions of undocumented immigrants.

  • Americans typically aren't eager to deport immigrants who have put down roots in the U.S. But the poll of 6,251 U.S. adults suggests that the dynamic may be changing amid rising fears about crime and violence.
