Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel was put on unpaid leave this week after he retweeted a joke about women being bipolar.
And boy oh boy did those ladies prove him wrong.
While WaPo allows its other employees to harass private citizens, completely fabricate facts, and call for government censorship, poor Dave had to put out an HR-approved apology and sit in the corner with a dunce cap while on unpaid leave.
Enter our man Seth Dillon, who offered Dave a chance to get some dignity and respect back, along with an opportunity to jump WaPo's sinking ship with some cold hard cash in hand:
Dang! Three months' salary and a chance to stand up for himself by striking back at the whiney little thoughtcrime police that want to control him?
What a deal!
