The refreshing and not totally woke basketball player Enes Kanter Freedom has reportedly been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize!

"Sometimes taking a stand is more important than your next paycheck," Freedom said.

Back in October 2021, Freedom started dropping truth bombs about the Chinese government, namely of its treatment of Uyghurs.

The Atlantic published a great piece on Freedom's path to becoming one of the few professional athletes interested in speaking out against the Chinese government's ongoing atrocities.

Freedom has even gone after one of the Wokeism's highest-profile court jesters -- LeBron James.

"Money over Morals for the ‘King' Crown. Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice," Kanter said of James. "They really do ‘shut up & dribble' when Big Boss [Flag of China] says so. Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?"

Freedom was waived by the Houston Rockets shortly after being traded by the Boston Celtics last week. Here's hoping he can get picked up by a team so he can keep playing some pro ball.
