Man, it actually hurts to watch this.
No one is being rude, but there's no overwhelming joy either. The food service workers smiled and got a pic with Joe and his aviators (he's gotta wear them inside cuz he's so cool and hip!), but the place was quiet and almost somber.
Like, did they choose this place because it looked like no one was there? There's a 10-to-1 ratio of Secret Service/press members compared to employees, let alone customers.
It just felt... empty and forced.
I'm really not trying to slam Joe cuz every politician does this kind of stuff. The energy and body language just feels wacky and hollow compared to, well, this 👇
