Another day, another taxpayer bail out of entitled college grads who can't pay their debt.
Yes, on their way out the door Biden and Harris are "forgiving" another $4.28 billion in student loan debt. And by "forgiving" we mean transferring the debt to the taxpayers.
The massive loan handout will give 54,900 public workers loan forgiveness.
'Four years ago, the Biden-Harris Administration made a pledge to America's teachers, service members, nurses, first responders, and other public servants that we would fix the broken Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, and I'm proud to say that we delivered,' Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a release on Friday.
Weird how there's just billions of dollars lying around that, apparently, is spent at the pleasure of the White House whenever they want to buy some love for their loyal followers.
With this installment, the total in "forgiven" loans has made it up to $180 billion during Biden's four years.
The Biden-Harris administration touted the program for creating an 'incentive' for public servants to 'pursue and remain' in their careers by forgiving borrowers' remaining balance after they made the 120 qualifying monthly payments.
My only question:
How many of these drains on taxpayer resources are going to be fired during the DOGE purge?
