BLM's co-founder is leaving amid her controversial home buying spree, but it's okay: she has a TV show and book deal lined up.

Some people got a little angry that Patrisse Cullors, the "trained Marxist" who co-founded BLM, gave in to the capitalist machine by purchasing four homes worth millions of dollars total.

She tried her best to spin her 1% status as victimhood, but alas, it didn't work:

Here was BLM's statement:

Of course, like all good Marxists, Cullors has a sweet capitalist gig lined up that will likely pay her more than BLM ever could, allowing her to have more ritzy spending sprees for fancy vacations in Malibu!

Per the AP:

[Cullors] said she is leaving to focus on other projects, including the upcoming release of her second book and a multi-year TV development deal with Warner Bros. Her last day with the foundation is Friday.

Cullors says this is all coincidental timing, of course, and has nothing to do with her rich lifestyle:

"Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don't operate off of what the right thinks about me."

I assume that means she cares what the far left would think of her.

Judging by the opulent, kingly living of Marxist leaders who came before her, I'd say they'd heartily approve!
