Brandon Johnson to eliminate selective-enrollment schools, even after he promised he wouldn't, to promote "EQUITY" 🤡
· Dec 15, 2023 · NottheBee.com

The end result of striving for equity isn't that everyone will succeed, it's that everyone will be an equal failure. This is the story of Marxism.

In Chicago, actual commie Brandon Johnson is proving that point yet again by working on a plan to end the city's "selective schools" program, which allows good students to get out of crappy schools and into high-performing classrooms.

Weird, a Marxist lied during their campaign to get elected and turned around to do the very thing they promised they would never do??

Isn't that bizarre?

The Chicago Tribune even goes after Johnson's lies in their editorial pages, pointing out how if he had run on closing these schools for gifted students he would not have won.

The resolution is fertilizing the soil for a five-year "transformational" strategic plan, apparently coming this summer from Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez. The resolution calls for "a transition away from privatization and admissions/enrollment policies and approaches that further stratification and inequity in CPS and drive student enrollment away from neighborhood schools..."

"Transformation" is a Pravda-esque word for remaking something the way the people in power want it to be remade. "Transition away" minimizes change that many people, especially working-class Chicagoans of color, don't want. And, yet worse, the resolution accepts the false binary that selective-enrollment schools hurt neighborhood schools, when a decent system would improve the latter even as it retains the former.

The Tribune knows that Johnson is up to no good.

But it's a commitment to eQuiTy, you see!

Equity is THE most important value for the woke 21st century.

By the way, here's a reminder of what equity means:

Ben Shapiro sums up Chicago's plan succinctly:

When you have an equity-first worldview, making everyone "equal" is the only thing that matters. Anyone getting a better chance to succeed is evil and wrong.

The solutions never lift everyone up. They always, in every form of communism and Marxism, end up bringing everybody down so that everyone is poor and miserable together.
