Not sure why anyone would think it was a good idea to do this.
But just in case it's not clear: Never do this.
The Brazilian teen who died after injecting himself with butterfly remains reportedly suffered in agony for a week before his death — which doctors say may have been caused by an allergic reaction or infection.
Davi Nunes Moreira, 14, suffered excruciating pain in a hospital in Vitoria de Conquista for an entire week after admitting he mixed a dead butterfly with water and injected the concoction into his leg, the DailyMail reported.

Fair question: why would someone do this?
The New York Post says the young man may have been "participating in a sick social media challenge," though just what that challenge is we couldn't figure out — media outlets are (understandably) not sharing it.
One doctor, meanwhile, "speculated that Davi may have suffered from an embolism, an infection or an allergic reaction."
'We don't know how he prepared this mixture or the size of the fragments he managed to inject into the body,' Relvas said.
'There may have been air left inside, which could lead to an embolism,' he said.
Friendly reminder that internet challenges are usually dumb, and some can actually kill you.
